THE WALTZ SERIES

The Waltz Series is always pleased to invite new guests and to consider new candidates for membership. Here is the process.

 

1. Arrange in advance to attend a Waltz Series dinner dance as a guest. You can initiate this by filling in the form below. We will respond with the link on Tix.com where you can purchase a ticket. We will arrange for you to be seated at a table hosted by a member.

2. When you attend, please be present at the cocktail hour before the dance, to enable you to meet some of our members.

3. If you have a wonderful time and would like to attend a second dance, please follow the same process as noted above.

4. At the second dance you will be asked to dance by two board members, who will have been notified of your attendance. The purpose is primarily to get acquainted and talk about your possible interest in becoming a member.

5. If you decide that you are interested in membership, you will be asked to provide a 1-page statement describing some personal and dance background, plus whatever interests you would like to share about yourself -- professional, cultural, or dancing.

6. Your candidacy will be nominated and seconded by two members and then voted on by the Board of Governors at their next meeting.


Annual dues of $190 are pro-rated if membership starts within the season.
